About us and editorial policy

Who we are
Deadlock Pro (deadlockpro.gg) is an unofficial fan site about Deadlock. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve Corporation.
The editor is Lexxeech. He signs our news and guides.
How we prepare articles
Code collects facts from sources: Valve announcements and updates, tournament operators, Liquipedia and open game data.
Drafts are prepared with the help of automation, including language models. Facts, figures, names and dates are checked against the sources linked in every article. Every piece is read and approved by our editor, Lexxeech, before it is published; he rejects a piece with a mistake and gives the reason.
Match results are data on tournament pages, not news.
Fact-checking
We do not publish a fact we have not checked, and we link to the original source. We publish rumours only once a party involved confirms them: a player, a team, an organiser or Valve.
Use of AI
Language models prepare drafts and translations; automated checks compare them with the sources. A person, our editor Lexxeech, reads every piece and approves it before publication. We never credit AI as an author.
Corrections
Found a mistake? Write to contact@deadlockpro.gg with the page address.
If a correction changes the meaning, we add a dated “Correction” note right under the byline saying what was wrong and which source the fix comes from. Minor fixes are noted at the end of the article. Typos and layout fixes do not change the publication date.
